Preface
As this collection unfolds each week, I want you, dear reader or listener, to understand that no matter what you’re going through, what you’ve been through, there is an end—there is light at the end of the tunnel. Letting go of the past is only possible if you live in the present. Make the past history, learn what you can about yourself, at whatever pace is comfortable, and I promise your present will take you to a brighter future.
Fire Fainting
Hearth stone, terrorized bones Chilled breathe, hardened stones Fires sting, born unclean Leave the deserting thoughts to pass Grow colder with him Watch him as he feeds Behold his slowing thoughts as he grows cold… No the fire slowly dwindles, yes you find he is resting Don’t let the darkness grow much more Leave the thoughts of the cool nightfall Take the log from beneath his feet Wake him up in the process Who cares if he is rested? You are more important Take his dignity Take his pain Grown in vain… Is he complacency?
