What’s Animal Farm About?

Journey to the Center of the Earth by Jules Verne centers on Professor Otto Lidenbrock, his reluctant nephew Axel, and later their hunter-guide Hans as they embark on an imaginative scientific expedition to the center of the Earth. After the professor discovers a cryptic message from his savant hero, Arne Saknussemm, they plunge into the depths of Snaefell, a volcano in Iceland.

Driven by determination to uncover the mysteries below the ground, they face daunting challenges like treacherous terrain, supply scarcity, and prehistoric creatures. The trio marvel at their discoveries of underground seas, human-like giants, dinosaurs, and ancient wonders along their journey. Before they know it, summer ends, and a volcano erupts, sending them back to the surface, forever changed by their adventure. Even Axel, the skeptic of the crew, becomes a believer by the end.
